The Cook Angus program is based on a moderate, functional female that breeds every year and raises a quality calf requiring limited resources. We strive for cows that are structurally sound, fertile, with good feet and udders, and an easy temperament with mothering ability. Longevity is a profitable trait. Several cow families in our herd have multi-generations producing. We do not waiver our core values for open, hard keeping, poor udder, bad footed, high headed cows.

At Cook Angus, our pride is on cow families building profitable herds. Starting with easy-fleshing, no-nonsense females that breed back every year on grass. Our cows are moderate-framed, deep-ribbed, with tight, well-attached udders and the kind of foot and leg structure that keeps them working into their teens. Our bulls are stacked with generations of elite proven cow power. Maternal traits-backed by dams with high pregnancy rates and sustained productivity. Producing efficient, high-performing replacement females that lower costs and maximize lifetime returns in commercial herds year after year.

Our genetics have been developed in range conditions, to excel in range conditions.

We are confident our bulls will work for you, because we use our bulls and they work for us.
